Content Architecture Weeks 1–2
01
Strategy 01 / 03

A quiet strategy with a loud outcome.

Notes

We rebuilt the site as a fully custom WordPress theme designed around the article. A calm editorial system replaces the noisy legacy template — serif typography, generous reading columns, and a category architecture that reads like a magazine, not a CMS dump. Prostate Health, Diabetes, Hormone Health and General Health each received distinct visual treatment and content hierarchy.

ACF + Gutenberg Weeks 3–6
02
Design 02 / 03

Editorial systems, engineered for scale.

Notes

Custom Gutenberg + ACF flexible content blocks for hero articles, evidence callouts, table-of-contents, pull quotes, author bios with medical credentials, and source citations. Each category archive is art-directed independently. Newsletter capture and related-article modules are native blocks that editors compose themselves — no developer needed post-launch.

Performance & QA Weeks 7–8
03
Performance 03 / 03

Numbers as a byproduct of intent.

Notes

AVIF + responsive image sources for every article hero, critical CSS inlined, third-party scripts (analytics, ad slots, newsletter) deferred behind interaction. Result: 95 PageSpeed mobile, 0.9s LCP on article pages.

— 02 Across surfaces

One system. Many windows.

The same editorial language, recomposed for every device — same rhythm, same restraint, different frame. Whether a reader arrives on mobile after a search or settles in on desktop for a long-form read, the system holds.

Notes

Held in the palm or framed on the desk — the system loses none of its composure. The ratios bend, the rhythm doesn't.

— 03 In their words
The site finally feels as authoritative as the research behind it. Readers stay longer, trust more — and the editorial team ships without touching code.

Freelance WordPress Developer Health Blog — Case Study

freelance WordPress developer health blog — Mosharaf Hossain case study

This freelance WordPress developer health blog case study covers how Mosharaf Hossain built a high-performance editorial site for Ben’s Natural Health, one of the UK’s largest natural health publishing brands. The project required a freelance WordPress developer health blog approach: custom editorial theme, ACF and Gutenberg block system, and mobile performance that matches the publication’s SEO goals.

Large health editorial WordPress sites face a specific challenge: hundreds of articles, complex taxonomy structures, and an editorial team that needs flexible content tools without touching code. The existing site had accumulated performance debt — slow load times, inconsistent article layouts, and no structured content system.

Mosharaf built the freelance WordPress developer health blog with a fully custom PHP theme and a hybrid ACF + Gutenberg block system — giving the editorial team the flexibility of blocks while keeping structured data clean and SEO-friendly. Custom post types for article series, expert authors, and health topics give the site strong internal linking architecture.

Results: 95 PageSpeed mobile score. The freelance WordPress developer health blog build demonstrates how a custom theme outperforms a page-builder approach for content-heavy editorial sites. Stack: WordPress, ACF Pro, Gutenberg custom blocks, custom PHP theme.
